Designed for the environment and the rider...

I’ve always been frustrated while shifting the front derailleur on my bike, as most people have. The chain rings and front derailleur interface continue to be the worst performing components on a mountain bike. The design is outdated and has always performed poorly so I decided to build my own. The old lateral slam, drag and lift method had to go! I went back to square one and looked at what really needed to happen to accomplish shifting the chain up and down the chain rings. My goal is to perfect the front drive-train so it shifts smoothly every time by guiding the chain directly from chain ring to chain ring and decreasing the amount of contact with the chain(drag).

At WickWërks we're not just making little improvements, we're pushing the front derailleur and chain rings to a new performance level and have been working on these components for years doing R&D. We proto-tryped the SG (slide guide) front derailluer that only worked with our twist shifters to dial in our special cage. Customers at all the Interbike shows told us to make it compatible with trigger shifters and make it easy to shift, that's exactly what we are doing. We are taking the patented "movement and guide" and placing it on our unique 6-link front derailleur called the PS-FD (Paradigm Shift Front Derailleur) that will be compatible with both Shimano and SRAM trigger shifters as well as SRAM twist shifters.

We feel our chain rings for mountain, road and CX bikes are absolutely the best performing chain rings made. All of our products keep getting better as our company grows over time and we continue to do research and development. We have recently purchased our own CNC machine to greatly speed up the R&D on our rings and upcoming PS-FD. For those that have followed and waited patiently, thank you! You know what's coming and it's going to rock the biking world in a big performance way. The complete drive train group will be developed in the future to include road and CX bikes. We're setting a higher standard for bicycle front drive-trains at WickWërks. Our obsession will result in a paradigm shift for the front drive-train of bikes.

We want to thank all of the people that visited our Interbike booth from 2001-2006 and again in 2008. Over the years we received great advice from many of you on the prototypes we displayed at the show. We listened and are going in the direction the serious riders want us to go. The front drive-train of WickWërks will be a very cool super high performance system. It was very encouraging for us to see as many biking enthusiasts as we had visit our booth and be as excited as we are about our products and the direction we are going.
