Designed for the environment and the serious rider...

We know our chainrings for mountain, road and Cyclo-cross bikes are the best performing chainrings made!!! I’ve had so many racers and great riders over the last couple of years tell me our rings shift better than Shimano and SRAM and FSA rings, not just any of their rings but their very best rings. That’s so exciting to get these great emails from satisfied customers, thank you!!!

We’ve sponsored the Kenda/Tomac Professional Mountain Bike Team in 2009, the Kenda/Felt Professional Mountain Bike Team in 2010, both with a mountain triple, and the Kenda/Felt team again in 2011 with our newest mountain 2x10 rings. We are sponsoring them again in 2012!!! If you have a SRAM XX or XO 2x10 crank you need these rings!!! They are better in every way possible, weight, stiffness, performance and cost!!! These are direct replacements for the SRAM XX and XO cranks.

We have CX rings for the 130BCD, and for the 110BCD and Zipp Vumaquad cranks. We offer road double rings for the 130BCD and road compact for the 110BCD cranks. We offer the best performing mountain 2x10 and 3x10 chainrings made. Our new 3x10 chainrings also work on 9 speed drive-trains. We have the 2x10 in a 40/26 which is perfect for 29er’s and 26er’s as well and we’ll soon have them in a 42/28 combo. We’ll have our newest mountain triple in a special 44/33/22 combo for 10 speeds that also works great on 9 speeds for sale soon. We’ve taken these rings to a new level of performance, going to a 33t middle ring and improving the downshifting from the middle to the small ring. Our new 3x10 rings have been taken to an even higher level of performance than our 3x9 rings, that’s saying something!!! We’ve done a lot of revisions on our mountain triple rings over the last few years; you’re going to love these new ones!!! All our rings are the fastest shifting rings made, up or down. The mere mortal rings the other companies make fail to engage in any kind of timely manner, especially under load. You can count on ours to do it every time you shift.

I’ve always been frustrated while shifting the front derailleur on my bike, as most people have. The chain rings and front derailleur interface continue to be the worst performing components on a mountain bike. The design is outdated and has always performed poorly so I decided to build my own. The old lateral slam, drag and lift method had to go! Many years ago I went back to square one and looked at what really needed to happen to accomplish shifting the chain up and down the chainrings.
My goal is to perfect the front drive-train so it shifts super smooth every time by guiding the chain directly from chainring to chainring, decreasing the amount of contact with the chain(drag). At WickWërks we're not just making little improvements; we're pushing the front derailleur and chainrings to a new performance level!!! We’ve been working on these components for years doing R&D; it’s an obsession for perfection. Shimano and SRAM visited our booth at Interbike many times over the years because they saw something they knew was going to be better, they knew the movement and physics behind my idea was a superior movement and they’re right, it will be better and it’ll be ready soon!!! We prototyped the SG (slide guide) front derailleur at Interbike a decade ago, it worked with our own twist shifters. We used it to dial in our specially shaped guide cage. Customers at all the Interbike shows told us to make it compatible with trigger shifters and make it easy to shift. That's exactly what we’re doing!!! We’re taking the patented "movement and guide" and placing it on our unique 4-link front derailleur called the PS-FD (Paradigm Shift Front Derailleur). It’ll be compatible with Shimano and SRAM trigger shifters as well as SRAM grip shifters.

We continue to do research and development on a weekly basis. Over the last four years we’ve gotten most of our chainrings into production and are now totally focused on the new PS-FD for 2x10 mountain bikes. The second PS-FD we’ll do will be for cross bikes followed by a version for the road compact because of the 16 tooth jump from a 34t to a 50t ring. Then we’ll do a mountain triple version. This new technology will be tested by some of the best pro riders in the world, be proven on race tracks, and be ready for the after-market as a direct bolt-on plus be available for some OEM's. We won’t stop until all these PS-FD’s are perfected and in full production. It’ll be our obsession over the next several years to get all the various PS-FD’s into production and on as many enthusiastic racers and riders bikes as possible over the next several years. It will result in a paradigm shift for the front drive-train of bikes!!! We have our own CNC machine that has been a tremendous asset in the R&D of our chainrings, now it’s working on our new PS-FD for the mountain 2x10.

For those that have followed and waited patiently, thank you! You know what's coming and it's going to rock the biking world in a big performance way!!! We're setting a higher standard for bicycle front drive-train performance at WickWërks.

We want to thank all of the people that visited our Interbike booth from 2001-2006 and again in 2008. Over the years we've received great advice from many of you on the prototypes we displayed at these shows. Thank you for the feedback and input!!! We’ve listened over the years and are going in the direction the serious riders want us to go. The front drive-train of WickWërks will be an innovative, unique and extremely high performance system, definitely not a me-too FD and chainring combo.

We're very excited now that our WickWërks BRIDGE Technology chainrings are in production for most of the cranks out there. We hope you're as excited as we are and you'll purchase a set and try them for yourself, you’ll be glad you did!!!

Thank you!!! The WickWërks Team
